Common reasons for diversion
      External Reasons
     Unwanted sound in the background
     Distraction from other entities in the vicinity
      Internal Reasons
     Lack of interest in the current topic
     Lack of concentration during the meeting
     Brining up of a seemingly more important topic

Effects of Diversion
   Loss of productive time
   Delay in meeting the required objective
   Loss of effort and economy
   Sometimes irrecoverable effects such as contract and tender notice meetings
   Cause to take a totally different path or action



How to avoid diversion
   Make sure you write the name of the topic prior to a discussion.
   Have around 6~8 people to ensure that the topic always stays relevant.
   Make charts ahead of a meeting.

Precautionsto be taken
  Switch off mobile phones during a meeting
  Ensure that all the people attending the meeting come right on time
  Don't stretch the meeting for over 45 minutes to ensure that there is sufficient concentration
  Schedule the meeting during early hours of the day.
